I’m reading the book “The Greatest Salesman in the World” by Og Mandino. I am reading the first scroll and came across these words…”Experience is comparable to fashion; at action that proved successful today will be unworkable and impractical tomorrow. Only principles endure…”
I started looking back at my 40 years in the workforce and was thinking of all the experiences I had as a programmer. One of the reasons I left the workforce was due to the fact that changes in software were so rapid that regardless of your experience level, there was always someone new that had the lastest training and techniques. The principles were constant, but the experienced people were let go because of the needs of the company had to remain on the cutting edge of the technology.
And then there’s Wes, staying strong in Week number TWO! To thy own self be TRUE. MKE charts the course; the rest is up to YOU! Your dream, your vision is straight ahead!
